LEAF LIFE – SHOW #10 – SEATTLE
BARTENDER vs. BUDTENDER
Our 10th show compares the unique differences and similarities between bartending and budtending. Trust is integral to both relationships, which unites the two arts of customer service that lead to a happy buzz. We start with Barman Jack Sanders, a professional trainer turned bartender who blends terpenes, Cannabinoids and natural herbs to make healthful and delicious cocktails. We explore the infusion of Cannabis directly into drinks, how terpenes and flavors can enhance the effects of a beverage, and how using Cannabis can make the choice to consume alcohol healthier. Our second guest Josh Longworth shares his experiences as a professional budtender at The Reef dispensary in Capitol Hill. Longworth blends a passion for medical and craft Cannabis with mindful advice to find the right Cannabis choice for a customer’s experience.
KASI or “BARMAN”,
Jack Sanders is a professional barman who combines his passion for Cannabis and ethnobotany into the world of alcohol, creating unique and healthful cocktails that are both beautiful and delicious. His company Erudite & Stone focuses on breaking the stigma of Cannabis through information in person, and influence in the kitchen and behind the bar.
Josh is a highly intuitive encyclopedia of cannabises nuances. Part of his pedigree includes his medical marijuana consultancy license as well as experience in the retail trenches as purchasing manager. Josh’s knowledge and experience with cannabinoids translates to successful patients with whom he interacts daily while now budtending at one of Seattle’s premier retail locations, The Reef on Capitol Hill.
